Abstract

|
Tinea pedis is a mycotic infection of the feet in the young and middle aged persons and it is the most common disease among the superficial mycotic infections.
It is usually caused by Trichophyton, Epidermophyton and. rarely caused by Microsporum and Candida albicans.
Review of the literature in regards to clinical differentiation, pathogenesis, differential diagnosis, management and prophylaxis of Tinea pedis was accomplished.
